What we're looking for

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help us primarily on building out an API that would provide access to defined datapoints from the Increment protocol smart contracts.

Increment's Development Stack

• Frontend: Typescript + React + Ethers
• Smart Contracts: Solidity + Vyper (using Hardhat, Typescript, Ethers, Foundry, Slither framework)
• Infrastructure: TheGraph

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the development team to design, implement, and maintain a secure, reliable, and scalable API infrastructure for accessing datapoints on the Increment protocol
• Design and implement REST APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints for data access and retrieval
• Develop and maintain API documentation

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in developing APIs, with experience in DeFi protocol development preferred
• Experience with Node.JS/Typescript and RESTful API design
• Experience in Go and/or Rust
• Demonstrates interest in DeFi and understands on-chain perpetual system
